Surviving the Coming Zombie Apocalypse: Disaster, Catastrophes, and Human Behavior is an experiential learning environment produced by Michigan State University. This immersive experience explores human psychology and behavior during disasters and catastrophes. The experience combines storytelling, social media platforms, episodic videos, academic research, and popular culture. The experience garnered six American Advertising Awards- Gold and Silver ADDY Awards and recognition by popular culture personalities like Conan O’Brien and online media websites such as Teen Vogue and the Daily Mail.
