Surround is an immersive art experience created to simulate the over-stimulation people experience in a technological world. Participants are immersed in an environment that incorporates audio and visuals that are projection-mapped on to physical objects. Students worked as a team and engaged in project planning, project management, 3D animation, 2D animation, motion graphics, videography, and projection-mapping. In addition, various physical objects and computer hardware were used in the installation. This included plastic bags, pedestals, projectors, computers, computer-controlled LEDs, and Arduino Uno hardware.
